Discover new ways to elevate your work with continuous lighting in this hands-on workshop, perfect for both photographers and videographers.
TOPICS: Explore 3 unique lighting setups, including:
• A hybrid 3-point lighting setup ideal for interviews, talking-head videos & more (our go-to method).
• A vibrant multi-color setup, perfect for music videos, portraits, and abstract projects.
• A simple yet striking single-light setup for moody and engaging visuals.
SKILL LEVEL: Perfect for creatives at any level, this class will help you elevate your visuals with practical, versatile techniques
OVERVIEW: Your instructor will demonstrate 3 unique lighting setups step-by-step and answer any questions along the way. You’ll also learn key studio lighting terminology, best practices for setup and breakdown, gear recommendations, and more.
SCHEDULE: 6-8pm
• 90 minutes: Instructor demos and walkthroughs (30 minutes per setup).
• 30-45 minutes: Open studio time for attendees to practice with lights and studio equipment.
WHAT TO BRING: While nothing is required, attendees are encouraged to bring their cameras to practice with the equipment during open studio time.
LENGTH: 2 hours
IMPORTANT: Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to check in and get settled before the workshop begins. Doors will close promptly at the start of the class to ensure an uninterrupted experience for all attendees. Unfortunately, late arrivals may not be permitted to enter.
